this cute little vintage store on Magnolia...
We made one last stop here after having dessert at Quenelle and heading home.
OMG, look at that yellow phone. We used to have one back in the 70's. Those colors are not that great either - harvest yellow or orange,, puke green, and powder blue but you know, someone out there with a 70's fetish would want these.

Marge Simpsonesque clip on earrings anyone? The Chia pet beard was funny but really, who would buy that.

Eight tracks galore. I was surprised they had Foxy! True to form, the acts listed were in their heydey when eight tracks were still in vogue (Foreigner, Linda Ronstadt, Santana and ELO).

It's total visual overload in here and it's not even a big store.

Ha ha, old school Justice League.
TC was marveling over the wooden skateboard...

I don't even remember if we got anything that day but afterwards, we made a stop to Porto's. We had to. It was just down the street.

Potato ballz and iced mochas (one with caramel for Bert).

Potato ballz filled with ground beef. Yes.
At the split...

and crossing Mission Valley near the 8...

It was great to be back home again.

What a great vacation! The LATimes had an article about Portos and finally, The Mister understands why we need to stop there. Maybe following the next float road test...
Yes, it was fun! You and your husband should definitely go to Porto's. Don't be intimidated by the long lines.it moves fast
