Sushi Diner & Up2 You Cafe revisit + K Sandwiches

Sometime during the Thanksgiving Break, TC and I went here once again...

During the recent South Bay food crawl, Jinxi mentioned that Up2You had a new location. Wut?  I totally missed this as they have been open since early summer.

It's right up the street from K Sandwiches and Sushi Diner, in the same strip mall that has Homestyle Hawaiian...

Sushi Diner

Around the corner from K Sandwiches is a duo of hole in the wall restaurants, sharing the same building, Mien Trung and Sushi Diner. This post is about Sushi Diner (not pictured below).

This is the parking lot behind Sushi Diner which is near a hidden beauty shop. There are only a few parking spaces in the back and we got lucky snagging one that afternoon, dagnabbit.

I'd never paid attention to the sushi place next door to Mien Trung until recently...

Return to Mien Trung and dessert at K Sandwiches

Yesterday TC and I met up with Paul (sans Darlene) for a quick dessert meetup at Da Shack for some Hawaiian style shave ice. I thought it would be efficient if we had lunch near the proposed site.

We parked in the K Sandwiches parking lot, which was hella crowded during the lunch hour.
