Gotta love those names! Lolo is the Filipino word for "grandfather" but I'm sure that wasn't their intent. I liked how regal Taco Temple sounded.

We wanted to pick up just a few things some salad for dinner later that evening as well as picnic provisions for the next couple of days...
We saw this market on the way down to Morro Bay and thought we'd stop by here on our way back up.

It was just your typical grocery store with a bit of a throwback feel to it, but with an awesome view of Morro Rock!

Our drive down...

as we got closer to Cayucos. TC really wanted to go to the beach that afternoon...

Our set up...umbrella, beach chair, towels, and snacks for me since my ass was parked underneath this for about an hour or so.

I think I was the most covered up person on the beach, haha. Seriously, the sun might have been out, but it was $%#@ cold! Can you see Morro Rock in the distance?

TC and Bert in the distance as they traversed to the pier in the hope of seeing the tidepools, which unfortunately were covered up already. Nevertheless, they still had fun...

while I kicked back and local dogs caught up to their masters on the beach.

After what seemed like an eternity, Bert and TC came back from their foray to the tidepools and pier and we walked back up the beach to pick up some dessert for later.

On the way we passed behind Ruddell's Smokehouse where we had Lunch Part 1 earlier that day...

We decided on this place to get some ice cream...

Back at our room, our bars and TC's frozen lemonade.

A comparison of our dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The top was from Crills II, the bottom from the Cayucos Candy Counter. We still think the one from Cayucos was the best. Just look at that filling! It's bigger too and had chocolate chunks within!

Our dinner was once again enjoyed at our motel's patio. We enjoyed the meat pies we bought earlier from A Deli and Pieman Pies. We had our cucumber soda and lemonade plus fresh salad along with the chicken and beef potpies.

Just look at that crust...

We raced against the clock to find a spot along the coast to watch the sunset. We ended up in San Simeon which has several lookout points close to the coast.

And just like that, the sun slipped quietly below the horizon...

No website but here are the reviews from yelp, all 23 of them including a measly THREE photos (the third of which is a really cool shot of the market with houses on the hillside in the background).
We had another big day ahead of us and we would sadly be leaving Cayucos tomorrow...
