The top floor of this complex was the Pier View Suites, a more upscale hotel/vacation rental boutique hotel. We were interested in the businesses below...
namely Top Dog Coffee Bar where we would share a small pastry and enjoy some coffee drinks (iced for me, hot for Bert and a hot chocolate for TC).
Even though it was pretty early in the morning, there were many locals out walking their dogs and stopping in for a drink then moving on...
The pastry that caught our eyes was the blueberry coffee cake at the bottom...
We enjoyed our mini breakfast outside before going to the pier...
This was so delicious but we didn't finish it all and ended up taking it back with us after our morning stroll...
