Record Store Day outfit

Yellow Sky

Last weekend, I attended a baby shower for my friend's daughter...
It was quite lovely, with a lavender, black and white color theme wih damask and the Eiffel Tower as the other design elements. There were desserts galore (full post will be forthcoming)...

It was also an excuse to dress up. My friend is one of my workout galpals and we normally don't see each other in clothes other than workout clothes...

One of my friends had a sexy ass pair of sky high platform peeptoe wedges that she got recently at Kohl's. Now Kohl's is normally not a store I shop at, but when she told me she saw some heels with spikes on them, I just had to see for myself.

Of course, being the shoe whore fanatic that I am, I had to have them...

Black 'n white cockroach killers...

It's been awhile since I did a shoe post.  I haven't been wearing my heels lately since it's summer vacation. When I'm not at work, I tend to wear my  ratty flip flops or my Vans or Converse. This pair was from DSW and bought sometime this Spring for work. I wore them recently this weekend...

If you don't already know, I fkng love pointy shoes.

You can't go wrong with black and white...

Graduation always signals the end of the year for me so  you can bet your @$$ I was happy that day finally arrived.   It's also one of those "special" occasions where I either wear a skirt or a dress. In this case, a skirt which I usually prefer because I can mix and match the tops. I am so much more comfortable in my holey jeans and t-shirts. But then again, I hardly wear monkey outfits like this so it's like what Pee Wee Herman says, "Take a picture, it'll last longer!"
