It looks like all the crying and screaming by the South Park denizens did  not prevent Target Express from taking over the old Gala Foods

I wonder what it's like inside...

Originally we were going to take our Christmas photo near the Bunny Kitty mural in South Park....

It was a good thing we didn't since there was some sort of yard sale going on...

Return to Grant's Marketplace

Last weekend, we headed over to South Park to take our family Christmas photo in the parking lot of abandoned laundromat on 30th and Redwood.  Why there? They have awesome street art murals and I wanted something entirely different from last year as well...

We did "photo shoot" first, then it was off to breakfast in the same neighborhood...

Return to Station Tavern, Cardamom Cafe & Moosie's

Last weekend we had the pleasure of meeting up with the Horns in South Park...

Station Tavern was chosen due to it's dog friendly outside patio.

TC was excited to see "The Doctor" once again...

One great thing about being on vacation was getting to try different places with TC...

As a young child, she has always been easy going in terms of trying new things. Thank goodness for that. Now as a teen, she is still pretty willing to check out different spots with us...

This particular day took us to the neighborhood of South Park...

The last full fledged day of my winter break was spent with Mi Firme Heina (MFH)...

We were back in South Park for lunch, but before doing so, wanted to check out this little shop on Beech St.

All the red in the window display attracted me as well as a tiny glimpse of what lay within...

Last weekend Kirbie and I had a fab lunch at one of South Park's restaurants...

located on the southeast corner of 30th and Beech...we were both curious about what Buona Forchetta had to offer...

Birthday dessert for TORC @ Eclipse

We had such a fab time sampling Russian and Georgian cuisine at Kafe Sobaka and now we were ready to move on to dessert...

which was only a few minutes away in neighboring South Park...

During the break, I picked up one of these postcards from an art gallery in North Park. The graphics caught my eye, but what was even more interesting to me was the content of the exhibit...

Lunch was across the street from the Bunny Kitty Mural, good ole Station Tavern.

I knew KDB had eaten here before and liked it, plus I knew the teens would like their burgers...

It was nice to be here on a quiet Friday morning instead of the horrendous crowded situation that was the South Park Walkabout  earlier this year....

KD's brother (aka KDB) was in town for a week to spend time with family. It was nice of him to set aside some time to meet up with me, along with his niece KDD and my daughter (they've been friends since birth). He gave me carte blanche to choose our agenda for the day.

Where to? To the leafy lined streets of South Park...
