It's one of our favorite places to see the sun set in SF...

only to head out again (via car this time) to the Inner Sunset...

but it wasn't that big of a deal especially since we would be seeing our good friend, Thane...

Unlike at home in San Diego...

we don't really utilize public transportation as much as folks do in the Bay Area...

which actually had a San Diego connection...

Only in Berkeley will you find Indigenous People's Day as a holiday on their parking meters...

Before heading back to Thane's, I wanted us to check out a newly opened gelato place but with a twist...

the flavors here were Thai...

University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley

Cal has a world class botanical garden attached to it's name...

Of all the times we've visited Berkeley, we hadn't been here before...

and TC was excited to take photos of the different plants here...

Conveniently located across from Cro Cafe was an ice cream shop...

complete with "artisanal flavors" and old timey font...

I wasn't aware of how hipster this place really was until we set foot there...

My MO was just, "find another coffee spot" nearby in google maps and this place popped up...

We had the whole morning ahead of us...

as we headed from the hills of El Cerrito...

Traveling on the 4 and return to Catahoula Coffee, Richmond, Albany and El Cerrito

Our gps had us take the 4 all the way to the Bay...
