to Pineapple King once more...
They now had a matcha pineapple puff. I bought a pair plus a couple of their famous butter filled pineapple buns. For the record, when a bun is called 'pineapple' in a Chinese bakery, it does not refer to the taste but to the scored pattern on the sugar crust which resembles a pineapple.
These fresh filled buns would be enjoyed at our coffee stop a few minutes away.
The butter hadn't completely melted yet. I still remembered how much we liked these butter filled buns last year.
We liked the butter filled buns more than the matcha but still, we had to give it a try since it was a new (to us) item. Oh yes, this time, the girl working there didn't charge me for something I didn't order either.
