It was of course, a food crawl...
with window shopping (and real shopping) interludes amidst our food stops...
I thought this place would be nice to take D, myself and KD (TORC was out sick) especially since Bert and I enjoyed our meal here earlier this year. I noticed that they changed out their awnings (it used to be white) and their interior decor was no longer dark as well (lots of white and light blue accents).
\We chose to eat outside. The sky was overcast which made for great and even lighting for my photos. Plus, it was kind of dark inside despite the lighter colored decor. Our waitress was really cool and very attentive.
Once again, I ordered their chilled iced espresso (sometimes called a Shakerato). This was so refreshing. Man, I need to dig up my cocktail shaker so I can make this at home or better yet, I'll just use one of TC's mason jars and shake it up that way.

The birthday girl's quesadilla (using a spinach tortilla and fresh chopped tomatoes) filled with cheese, eggs, hash browns and her choice of apple chicken sausage. This was an insane amount of food. As ever, we were prepared with my trusty cooler, so our leftovers wouldn't go bad.
This was my relatively boring contribution - I'm not much for benedicts or fritattas nor do I like overly sweet breakfast foods (like waffles or pancakes). I chose, once again, the croissant sandwich with the classic trifecta of eggs, cheese and this time, bacon. This is actually supposed to have cream cheese in it, but again, I asked for it to be put on the side and ironically, never even used it. Cream cheese with this type of sandwich seems really incongruous to me.
I like my breakfast simple.

We were there early enough to score parking in To the Point's small private parking lot. When Bert and I went, we had to do street parking.
Next stop, dessert at a very new and trendy place off Convoy. While on our way, we passed by the old K Sandwiches, which burned down last year. It still hasn't been rebuilt. Below, you can still see the remaining wall with their logo. I wonder if they will ever rebuild or if something else will take its place?
We took surface streets to Convoy. My goal was to get to that new dessert place before they opened so we wouldn't have to wait for a longass time. Our timing was a bit too early so we killed time nearby at this strip mall, with the Marukai Stores (Market and Living plus Tokyo Central & Main, which used to be Marukai Daiso).

They had some random shit in here like this Ben Franklin bank. Nice slot on the curve of his head.
When I saw those banks, I thought about this Wierd Al video, "It's All About the Pentiums" (a parody song about the narrator's obsession with his computer's hardware). This video and song is pretty dated. Pentiums are no longer a big deal but they sure were back in 1999. According to Bert, they are still making Pentiums with a different type of chip.
The above song parodies this song, "It's All About the Benjamins" by Puff Daddy (featuring the Notorous B.I.G., The Lox and Lil' Kim). I never even knew about this song back then but had to look it up after getting Wierd Al's video compilation. This was back when Wierd Al actually acted in his own videos because he was young, could still dance. Now that he's older, they have to photoshop his head (his Lady Gaga parody video is an example) or just do an animation version of him (his Bruno Mars' parody, "Another Tattoo" for one).
Ugh, I can't stand Puff Daddy/P-Diddy/Sean Combs. He changed his name so many times. Such an egotistical $%#@.

Alright, now I can truly say, "WTF what that about!", ha ha!
As I was making my purchase in line, I asked the young sales clerk about this product that wants you to "show your armpits". He told us that it "exfoliates the skin in your armpits" and also "makes the skin lighter". Wow, I didn't even know this was a thing. When I showed this photo to TC, she told me that one of her friends uses this.

We all enjoyed what we ordered at To the Point Eatery. I wouldn't mind going again, and maybe, just maybe trying their waffles or something sweet. One thing for sure is, I would totally get the chilled shaken espresso again!

I bought a couple of carabiners in the shape of a skeleton key here. This would be used for my upcoming Halloween costume. We killed about ten or fifteen minutes. It was time to haul ass back to the dessert place down the street...

To The Point is always nice. I also enjoy a simple breakfast sandwich but maybe would've tried the cream cheese on the last half... They have a lavender hot chocolate which I would like to taste, but not necessarily drink a whole cup.
They do have a simple menu, which is good in my opinion. I hate having to leaf through so many choices. I just don't understand the inclusion of cream cheese with the breakfast sandwiches. I think of it as being paired up only with bagels and lox instead of sausage, egg and cheese. Thanks for recommending this place months ago.
