This next one would be in the heart of downtown Chula Vista on Third Avenue Village...
Right across from the Chula Vista Heritage Museum...

and across from the the Chula Vista arch is this cute little corner bakery. Cathy had been here last year and was curious to see their macs. In fact, we HAD to go here.

Now I wished this was mine, but this was actually Cathy's pastry. I believe this had peaches on top of the puff pastry.

They had new and pretty postcards with all of their mac flavors...

The trio - Banana caramel (mine), passionfruit (TC's)and pistachio (Bert's) - $1.50 each.

I loved the caramel filling in here. They do the same thing with their PB&J flavor mac, which they were out of that day.

Hmmm...this might be my newest favorite flavor!

As if this wasn't enough sugar, there was still yet another bakery at the end of the street...

Ooh I think S would really like the banana caramel. I'm not a big fan of banana :P The PB&J was my favorite!
if you do your CV food crawl, this place should be one of your stops, at least for the macs. they do have cute desserts here too.
The caramel part of the banana caramel sounds good, just not the banana part. I'm with Jinxi - not a fan of the banana hehe. PB&J sounds really good, too. Interesting flavors!
Hi Mary - You might like the PB&J mac here. The past two times I've gone here, they're sold out of that flavor so maybe it's popular or she just doesn't make big batches of it.
