Skyline Beauty Supply

After our lunch at Philippe the Original. we headed back near the way of the Velveteria at a shop just across the street from them...

Caren had recommended this awesome store for their amazing nail polish selection...

In this area of Chinatown, there were a few of these types of beauty supply places where many of the city's manicurists shop for their materials.

There are cameras everywhere plus a flat screen at the register which the employees are constantly monitoring. It's not fancy in here, but it is full of beauty supplies of every kind - hair, nails, makeup.

It was fun looking at all of the different nail polish brands. They were cheaper than you would find at the stores and even more so if you bought them in bulk. I only bought one bottle that day, a dark reddish purple shade with a slight sheen to it.

I remember the brand Zoya because Darlene once gave me a Zoya polish of the coolest robin's egg blue. Whenever I wear it, I paint my ring finger nail red, or orange for contrast. The nail polish brush for Zoya is also designed so that you only need to do a few strokes for complete nail coverage, not the thin crappy brush that some of the cheaper brands have.

More nailpolish...

I got the nailpolish plus a lip brush (by the brand ELF)...

TC got these cute nail stickers plus mascara (yes, she can now wear eye makeup) and not shown, some sort of hair product.

This is a family business and the folks working here were very nice and helpful to everyone.
