Both of us are lazy pedestrians, but we trudged ourselves over to the always busy Whole Foods as the day started to heat up...
We made a beeline to their bakery section...

where we both got an assortment of macarons. I originally bought ten, but the girl said three more could be added for an additional dollar (it was a baker's dozen for $15)! Well, hello there! Sign me up!

Mine was in the box while my sister's was in the plastic container. She got lots of doubles for her and her son.

I don't remember all of the flavors I got, but they included espresso, blue velvet, chocolate orange and chocolate raspberry.

I think peanut butter and carrot cake (I normally hate this flavor but HAD to try it) was in there somewhere along with coconut.

AT $1.50 each, these macs are probably the best "bargain" in terms of their quality. I'm sure they would taste much better fresh since these are shipped from ROCQ's facilities in the OC rather than made in house. These lasted a few days with both me and Bert taking tiny bites of each then trying to guess the flavors. One of these days, TC and her cousin need to make these (them, not me, haha) so we can have them any time we want!

That was so nice of the clerk to tell you the Bakers Dozen price. So many places don't inform you of some sort of special like that. The flavors all look good. I usually only buy two at a time, but do like the quality of these.
Cathy - i'm glad that she did because it was a much better deal. i always like the wide selection that ROCQ has.
