Star Dust....for the nth time

It was well past the morning and in the early afternoon hours. We just had to see if Star Dust was open...

See the sign? That was earlier that morning, around 9 am. Closed.  But at 1 pm, it was a different story...

Upon seeing the "Open" sign and the donut guy in the window helping someone, we just had to stop by. You know, to get the uh kids cinnamon rolls....right?

There were a few cinnamon rolls on the rack but look above. Even more trays.

And here is a stealth shot taken when the guy went to the back to get something. No more shadows because I stuck my hand through the window to snap this shot...

We got the LAST German chocolate bar (for Bert), a chocolate raised (for me), and a couple of cinnamon rolls for the kids. Money well spent, I say.

We should have bought more than one chocolate raised. He makes it so well here...

The guy was actually cheerful (well as cheerful as he could be) and wished us a "good day" as we left

Aaah...


Perfection. Screw those hipster donut places. Star Dust does it right.
