We were all up for mariscos...
I noticed that their prices went up slightly for some of their tacos (about .25 and up to .50)

I got my usual trio of tacos. In the past, I've also ordered the pescadillo with the mixed seafood (it's so good!). One of my friends swears by the tuna fries (which I haven't tried yet).

My friend's house ceviche tostada (mixed seafood) and shrimp aguachile (which came with crackers and tostadas).

This was chock full of seafood; the dressing was clamato (and I think ketchup might be mixed in here as well).

I've never tried aguachile before because I'm scared of how how it will be. I'll have to give this a try next time as well, but it sure looks good. The cucumbers provide much needed cooling refreshment since the citrus spiked liquid the shrimp lies in is quite hot from chiles.

My grilled shrimp taco:

Octopus taco:

My friend's consomme (it was full of seafood and big pieces of shrimp inside):

My oyster taco - notice it's singular. I think I'm over these now since it wasn't that filling.

I wish there were more oysters in this. La Ley thinks their small taco sizes are a "tease". She and I ended up getting a fourth item. This was her shrimp ceviche tostada...

and wanting to try something new, my grilled salmon. It had a nice smoky flavor and was the perfect end to our lunch.

Previous visit to TJOB #2:
March 2015
It's been quite a while since we've been to the first location. It's usually pretty busy and has extremely limited seating. The second location down the street is a much more convenient with lots of space inside and out.
