where we used McD's as our pit stop...
as well as a refuge to rest for a few minutes while enjoying cold drinks. It was already getting pretty warm by that time. Iced coffee something for us and Icee for TC.
Our next stop was Gorman for gas. This time, on the other side of the freeway.

On our trips up, we normally go to Cream Pan first, then THH. We did it backwards this time.
More coffee plus chocolate chip bread rolls to take home, a melon pan for TC and almond croissant for Bert.
We were quite restrained. We've tried pretty much everything in their pastry case already. That was it, nada mas.

It was good to be back home after a week on the road.
