it was time to call it a night but first...
Dinner at the Thai place next door, Bangkok @ 12.
Bert's Singha, crisp and refreshing.

Dumplings (not really Thai, I know):

The full spread:

Bert's choice - Drunken noodles with beef. We didn't order it spicy. The beef was flavorful and tender.

TC's Pad Thai with tofu. Pretty standard.

My Thai salad with chicken (it's only Thai because of the peanut sauce). I wanted something healthy since we had those fried foods earlier. Rhe chicken was surprisingly tender as well. I normally don't order chicken at all.

We hadn't eaten since lunch so this was a welcomed meal. Leftovers would be enjoyed the next day for "breakfast", ha ha.
As for this signboard, which was also near our hotel, we made note to try this old school eatery the next day. Wow, it's been around since 1939. It's as old as my parents! The following photos were taken before the sunset.
