And as luck would have it, the perfect place was right next door to the FANHS National Museum...
Papa Urb's Grill first opened in Tracy; the Stockton location opened April 2015.

Their slogan is "Filipino food with a twist". Maria, the volunteer next door highly recommended the sisig tacos. I probably would have ordered that even without her recommendation to be honest.

Our lunch after all that driving and learning about Filipino American History:

BBQ pork belly combo - rice, chopped tomatoes, side salad and fried eggs

Sisig tacos (the meat is under all that vegetable frou frou):

Tocino dinner - Same as the BBQ pork belly but with a different meat. Food containers were a thick heavy duty paper which was better than styrofoam.

The de rigeur neon sign here proclaims, "Kain Na!" (pronounced "kah-EEN- nah" which means "Let's Eat!"):

This is a phrase you will hear at a Filipino party where the aunties will force feed you until you can't move anymore. I'm not kidding. My mom is one of them.

Overall, the food was pretty good. The sisig tacos were filling. I liked the addition of the shredded cabbage and cucumber slices with the combo meals. The tomato relish wit the bbq pork bellywas also a nice addition. It reminded me of the chopped tomatoes and green onions my mom would serve with fried fish. The meats were well seasoned and caramelized. The pork belly did have fat (it is pork belly) and I had to skip on eating most of those pieces.

Bert had his caffeine earlier today. I skipped out in hopes of trying the two places I scoped out online that were nearby...
