I'd only been there for lunch and we had some coupons to use as well...
The coupons saved us $2 off an entree (we used two, separately). Bert tried the chocolate pancakes with flax while TC had a grilled cheese sandwich (which came with turkey). I selected the Mango Mango omelet, which had panela cheese, bell pepper, spinach, mushrooms and a mango chipotle sauce on top (which I loved). My breakfast was served with a small side of fruit which TC ended up having.

You can see the flax powder on the pancakes. They were not too sweet but they also weren't that tasty in my opinion. Bert was a bit disappointed in this because he thought the pancakes would have a more pronounced chocolate flavor or have chocolate chips inside or something. He still liked it enough to finish it but I felt they were a bit on the dry and tasteless side.

As for my omelet, anything with their mango mango chipotle sauce is a win for me. I've had their wrap with this and their salad as well and both were so fresh and healthy tasting.

Another recent breakfast was this morning. This time, the healthy factor was kind of thrown out the window. Manna, one of our favorites, doesn't really serve health food but more like American comfort food.

It was funny that one was us was given coffee (the chilled milk dispenser was so cute, it looked like a penguin) even though it was not ordered. Bert didn't mind.

Although their specials went up by $1, they are still less expensive than nearby Aunt Emma's Pancake House.

Our lovely breakfasts:

Bert had the two pancake special with scrambled eggs and sausage patties ($4.50, up from $3.99)

I had the breakfast combo with hasbrowns, sourdough toast and the same sausage and eggs. Nothing fancy but just basic American breakfast. TC got something different this time, the breakfast burrito which had bacon, eggs, cheese, and avocado.

The owner checking out which channels to watch...

Service is always prompt here. The waitresses are super nice and the owner, very friendly to all of his customers (as it should be, you would think). It wasn't crowded quite yet but we would leave before the breakfast rush to head to our next stop that morning...
