Up in Klamath, eh.

They called it the "Tour Thru Tree", named to avoid legal problems with the other "Drive Thru" trees. In any case, we were going to make it three for three...
It's not often that you have the opportunity to drive through a giant redwood.

You pay your $5 at the booth and follow the signs.

This was a little different than the other two drive thru trees where there was actually room to maneuver your car on the road near the tree. Here, it is a tight squeeze. There was a small circular looped area offisdes where cars had to wait for their turn. Below, a guy prepares for the car to go through so he could take photos (we did the same thing).

Waiting our turn in line. The truck behind us was a big SUV; they had to turn in their mirrors. I didn't stick around to see if their vehicle got scraped or not. I think it's safer to just use a smaller car if you want to go through here otherwise, your truck or whatever gets screwed up.

Aaaand here we go (although I am standing outside of the car, ha ha).

And there you have it. Looks wide enough right? But good luck if you have one of those monstrous trucks though.
