Return to Imperial Grounds + a peek into Ms. Vintage

Yesterday, Bert and I had some free time since TC was at a volunteering gig.

We already had breakfast at Mango Mango (post is forthcoming)...

so coffee time it was...

I noticed they had new sticker decals on their windows, which was good since the isn't any noticable signage other than "coffee".

No Hot Chick Today. We got two versions of mochas - The Mexican Mocha (on the left with whipped cream, Bert's) and the regular Mocha (mine) plus an almond croissant which they source from Le Parfait Paris.

Lots of almonds and butter. Yes.

Bert liked his Mexican mocha while I didn't care for it too much (cinnamon is not my thing). As for my mocha, let's just say that just because they use Cafe Moto, it doesn't mean that the drink is going to taste all right.  This was kind of thin and burnt tasting. Not so great.  The guy who made our drinks was the owner (we met his wife during our first visit) and after I'd asked about it, he said we could take a peek into the vintage store next door. His wife and two other women were getting it set up for a pop up show this Saturday.

This is the building right next to the coffee shop.

Inside Ms. Vintage while Michelle (Imperial Grounds co-owner) and Rachel and Tracy get ready for Saturday's vintage pop up show. It wasn't all fixed yet, but it was really cool seeing all of the funky decor and clothing. Memories.

Damn, those dresses would be perfect for a Mrs. Roper/a> outfit

Plus an ad for this weekend's pop up trunk show:
