We wanted one last snack before going home...
so it was off to Pho Broadway where TC had a craving for soup...

TC and Bert shared the pho (forgot what cuts of meat but it was most likely steak and brisket), our fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls...

Can you see the blistered skin? These are the kind that I like because of the fried rice wrapper, not the egg wrapper. They included lots of fresh herbs plus vermicelli as well which I've never had with fried rolls before.

This was a light but yet filling snack before braving the crappy traffic down to San Diego. The folks working here were really nice and friendly.

I love the egg rolls with the blistered skin! Those are my favorite, they taste crunchier than their counterparts. I like to wrap them with lots of mint, too. Yum!
hi mary - those are the best kind. i don't like the egg roll wrappers. :(
i love how vietnamese food is so healthy with all of the fresh herbs and vegetables.
