We wanted to see if we would be lucky this time...
but alas, she was still out of their E-san sausages. :(
Bert's strong iced coffee was needed for our meal that evening...

Once again, we had the curry puffs. We love their flaky layered shell and the crimped edges...

This time we tried the chicken larb and the Panang curry with shrimp.

Both dishes were good but in retrospect, paled in comparison in quality to the food we would later have at Supannee House of Thai in Point Loma. The ground chicken had a kick to it even though we asked for a '2' (it felt like a 5). The curry was on the milder side but yes, there was also a bit of heat in there. We hadn't tried this type of curry before and I knew that Bert would not want to try the red (too spicy). We had things to do and places to go that next day and didn't want any, uh, aftereffect to bog us down. The service here was friendly. The owner/chef/server was really nice and said she hoped to see us again.
Previous visit to Krua Thai:
July 2014 (the week before)
That was our second strike for the Thai sausage, but I've already found our new favorite version at Supannee! I would be fortunate enough to have it again soon enough!
