They offer a combo'd fritter that I was curious to try...
Those flavors would be blueberry and apple. There are two sizes, the smaller is $1.05 and the larger version goes for $1.55. I bought two of the small blueberry apple fritters.

One of the fritters plus TC's soda...

Now both, hand modeled by TC...

It tasted more like apple than blueberry, but you can see the bits of fake blueberry pieces within.

Bert and I really loved the hard and crisp craggy edges. The last fritter I had from Donut Haven wasn't as good as this. These fritters had a nice glaze coating as well. Texture wise, I really liked these. They were pretty sturdy and had a nice bite to them.

Who else went to this location of Rose Donuts?
Cathy of mmm-yoso post in May 2014 is what made me want to seek this place out (this treat was also mentioned in a previous post of hers).

There is no website but here are the overwhelmingly positive reviews from you know where.
Our last stop of the day would be a little snack over in the Convoy area...

This place is so great and off the radar; the family that owns and runs it is so nice. We usually get one 'regular' and one blueberry fritter- to compare (yes, we still compare...or maybe just can't decide). The crispiness (which is due to the freshness) is part of the attraction; it is very sweet.
hi Cathy - glad i tried this place out. the fritters were so fresh and crispy. loved the flavor combo.
I went here once but I didn't take any photos. It was in the afternoon and I remember they didn't have too much, maybe we just went at the wrong time. Blueberry fritter sounds awesome though!
The fritter was good since it was a combo of both blueberry and apple. :)
