Last Thursday Cathy and her husband went up to Glendora on the first day that peach donuts were offered at the iconic Donut Man shop...
She'd gone earlier that morning, so by the time I got these from her later that afternoon, the peach donut had sagged a tiny bit...

Inside the box were its friends, the Tiger Tail, the French cruller and the buttermilk bar. Notice it came with a fork.

This beauty lasted only a few seconds...

It was so light and fluffy!
The donut clam shell was still crisp on the outside but soggy on the inside. The peaches themselves were not overly sweet, but sweet enough to enjoy!

I'm glad I was able to try this! Now I can say I've tried both the strawberry and the peach!
Here is Cathy's recent post detailing her trip for this seasonal donut:
"The Donut Man: It's Peach Donut Time", July 27, 2014
Thanks for saving me a trip!

I so wanted to miss the crowds- one Facebook post said at 11 pm the line was past the second parking lot...crazy. The donuts from here are so very fresh, different and nice; glad I got the peach so we could try and sorry I didn't transport it well. Ours also had a mushy bottom yet was still tasty.
I've never had a Peach donut but those look pretty darn good. I still want to try that tiger tail!
Hi C - Thanks again! It was good to finally try it!
Mary - it's pretty good but that Tiger Tail is awesome! So light!
