My niece wanted us to try it and I'm glad she picked this place out...
It wasn't crowded and we had the whole place to ourselves. Several of us got cookie ice cream sandwiches, while I opted for the square shaped pecan pie. Oh yeah, this eatery's shtick is their square shaped treats.

IF you want an ice cream sandwich, you pick your cookie, choose your ice cream and a side. They also had pudding and pie. The ice cream sandwiches were only $3.75 which wasn't too bad.

Warriors fans are everywhere in SF. They had just won the championship game that summer.

Our desserts:

Bert's brownie coffee ice cream cookie sandwich was pretty good, I have to admit.
My cousin's almond cookie and pudding and her daughter's Snickdoodle vanilla ice cream sandwich.

TC's Chocolate Chip Cookie with mint ice cream sandwich.

My pretty big and hefty (but condensed) pecan pie. Look at that filling. Bert and I had a few bites and saved the rest for the next day. We were sugared out!

So far, as of 2016, Swich is still there. It seems like restaurants have high turnover here. They have to keep people on their toes to sustain business I suppose.
