We were here the previous night to get a dessert pie.

This time, we would be picking up our lunch...
and have a few of these savory pies. TC picked the tuna melt (but it ended up being something else entirely; we actually couldn't figure it out because it didn't have any of the ingredients of any of the other vegetarian options). Bert and I picked the Jamaican beef patty for later.

Here they are before they were once again wrapped up.

I mentioned in previous posts that everytime we travel, I always ask Bert and TC to come up with a an activity, whether it's seeing something local, trying a particular restaurant or going to a certain shop or something. Anything to have them invested in the trip and be a part of the planning. Today was mostly TC and Bert's choices. It was nice for me to turn off my brain and let them handle the places to visit today.
TC thought it might be fun to check out a local farm. We weren't sure what to expect, like did they give public tours or was it just a place where you could buy their products or what? It's on the outskirt of the town and free to visit.

As I thought, there was an area where they sold their fresh produce as well as other local made products (jarred applesauce being one; we bought one in fact).

I wished our garden at home was this productive; our collards that we tried growing earlier this summer didn't have leaves as big as these did.
Fresh and fragrant herbs:

More produce:

We bought a bag of mixed lettuce leaves plus a jar of local made applesauce.

The lettuce would be part of our salad for our lunch later.
This was such a well behaved but curious dog. As we were leaving, a car parked next to us and out jumped this guy here.

Although the farm wasn't exactly what TC was thinking of (no farm animals that we saw), we still had a good chat with the guy working the store. He gave us some good tips for our gardening questions.
A few videos by others about the places we visited:
