which my older niece recommended. I was bummed to know about it the year before because it literally opened a few weeks after our Summer 2014 visit.

So, fast forward to Summer 2015 and here we were...
The owner, Joyce Lim was super super nice. She was excited to learn that we were from San Diego. She mentioned that her uncle owned a donut place in Poway, Donuts 'n Things. We'd never been but when she said it was near Sprouts Market, I knew exactly where it was.

Twisted made the list of "15 Things to Eat in SF" below. Bert got that particular donut (which seems kind of passe nowadays).

I chose the blueberry donut while TC chose the orange cruller.

This was so light and airy topped with that amazing orange glaze.

Bert thought this was okay. He liked that the bacon was cut into pieces unlike the bacon strips on Voodoo's version (they have it on a maple bar). This way, you can bit into the donut and have bacon in every bite instead of chewing on an uncut strip that comes off with the first bite.

Ha ha, TC's feet are in this shot of the blueberry donut balanced just so on my knee.

The donut was not super hard like M&M's version or too soft like Dunkin' Donuts. This was just right with a crisp exterior and light and fluffy interior.
