Earlier this month...

on a beautiful sunny San Diego day (which is usually almost every day except recently)...

we attended the Prof's wedding...
where they had an OPEN BAR!!! Rum and coke please. Tip, $1.

At our local Vietnamese joint, Pho Convoy (in Chula Vista), an iced coffee with condensed milk. Waiting for it to filter down. I usually ask for it to be strong. They pour a bit through the filter first and add more water. They also don't use as much condensed milk, per my request.

Over in Mission Hills...

Iced cold brew...

doctored up with sugar and cream.
And in Point Loma, what looks like an old Pioneer Chicken drive through (I just showed my age) but is now Better Buzz...

We had our drinks inside. I'm not into the drive through experience. TC's chai latte, my Mint Mojito and Bert's Iced Hazelnut Divinity.

Real mint in there, at the bottom.

Over in Santee, Starbucks with Cathy of mmm-yoso. These were Bert and TC's drinks - Caramel Frap and some sort of blended chocolate chip drink. Coffee this is NOT.

My iced peach tea. My original choice was gone so they comped this drink, which was nice. The Indian snack was from Cathy and it was gone later in a matter of hours. Nice, crunchy, salty, sweet and fun to eat.

Down in my hood in east Chula Vista...

Lollicup Tea Zone...

TC's Honey Milk Tea. This wasn't so bad.The honey made it taste so much better but I still don't like milk tea at all. Of course, she had boba with this drink.

At nephew #1's high school graduation party at the Eastlake Clubhouse back in June. They had a taquero who also brough Mexican agua frescas: tamarind, pineapple and strawberry.

At the mall with TC on another occasion, we used a buy 1/get 1 coupon for iced lemonades. My lime and her regular lemonade. I can't believe I've never tried the lime before! I love it!

Bought from Trader Joe's out of curiosity. Verdict? I didn't like it.

Over at the Zion food court...

A Vietnamese iced coffee (requested as strong/not as much condensed milk) from the Boba Dessert Bar place.

On Free Slurpee Day, Bert and TC's slurpees. I don't remember the flavors but they were pretty mixed and kind of gross, ha ha! We used to call the mixed flavors "suicides".

I'm guessing TC's was fruity while Bert's had either coke or root beer in it.

At the west Chula Vista Costco, my blended mocha and TC's berry freeze (only $1.50!).

Another visit...same thing for me. I'm a creature of habit. I like that they were heavy handed with the chocolate syrup.

One of the times Bert made VN iced coffee. Now that I've tried other coffees using fresh roasted beans, these instant coffees taste like total crap by comparison.

Yes, those are tater tots. Breakfast of champions.
I don't remember where Bert had this but he liked this nut brown ale.

There's probably more photos floating around but that's about all I'm willing to dig up for now.
This doesn't even include all of the beer floats Bert and I have experimented with, but oh well!
