Actually, it was none of these assorted muffins, cookies, and cake slices (or eggs)...

Across the stage were more paintings. I could recognize Jimi Hendrix but not the one of the left. I could also recognize Kurt Cobain (3rd one) but not the one at the far end.
Our shared dessert - the chocolate croissant plus an orange Italian soda.
The croissant would have tasted better heated up. And with more chocolate inside too. But then, I'm greedy with chocolate, ha ha.

The sequel, "Shadows of Night" is currently #1 on the best-seller list and I am eager to finish the first book so I can start the next one! Vampires! Witches! Daemons! Oh my!
