Rosaria Pizza was near the rental place and therefore was convenient...
The first few photos are from Bert's visit. They ordered breadsticks Rosaria style. When he sent me these photos, it looked like a pizza, but the bread was round and flat and cut in half and into strips. The sauces were marinara and ranch. This was pretty much inhaled by the hungry teens who had been paddleboarding for three hours.
The Works Pizza - Looks like a large size and pretty much had everything on it. Again, demolished by four hungry teens and an adult.
Bert said the pizza place was not very crowded. The clerk told him that they usually are busy in the evening, especially since they have late hours. No one really goes during the actual lunch hour he said.
On a more recent visit, Bert and I had a chance to have lunch here while TC and a friend enjoyed their time at Belmont Park. We did park over there and didn't want to repark, thus we walked a million blocks north to Rosaria Pizza.
Ah, thank goodness there was $%#@ AC in here. I definitely did NOT want to sit outside (like Bert and the kids did last time). It was empty here except for the lone worker, a young guy (maybe in his late teens or early 20's). We sat under the AC fan dammit. Needed to. We'd just walked twenty minutes in the hot ass sun.
The lunch special was calling our name.
Decor is red and green. Some of the walls have dings on them and scraped paint. It could use a sprucing up. I'm not complaining though. I've seen and eaten at much worse. This is pretty normal.
We didn't realize that the pizza special didn't include specialty flavors like the Nam (owners are Vietnamese; story linked at the end), which sounded good. Instead, the slice is plain cheese plus an included topping plus .50 for each additional topping.
Each slice could be different though, so that was good. The soda was Sprite, the slices were sausage and mushrooms plus ham and red onion (Bert's choice).
These toppings looked skimpy in comparison but still tasted all right.
The crust wasn't that great to be honest. I also ended up scraping off the sausage and mushrooms and eatin that instead of the crust. Less carbs. If the crust tasted better, I would have eaten it, but it seemed like overkill.

Too bad they don't make slices of their Nam pizza, only full pies. We'll have to come back one day for that!
