This was walking distance from our lunch at nearby Hole in the Wall restaurant (yes, that was the actual name).
I loved the name of this coffee bar, Ninja Star (or shuriken, "sword hidden in user's hand" in Japanese)...
They also have a cool logo featuring the four pointed version of the ninja star, with a bold black and yellow exterior. A few parking spots were removed for their mini patio complete with pergola, trees, and wooden deck.
Eddie the barista was really nice and used to work at Flying Goat in Santa Rosa (which we visited earlier this morning). He gave us some restaurant recommendations (for a nearby hipster ramen place and a bar!). Ninja Star uses Melody Coffee beans from a Healdsburg roaster. The pastries were from a local bakery but we just chose to stick with coffee.

My macchiato was so smooth and rich and potent. It was perfect. No need to add any additional sugar or cream.
This little patio out front was it's own oasis in the middle of a random strip mall. Lovely clouds overhead on this busy day sightseeing in Sonoma County. This was a great stop.

It was nice not to have to "think" today since Bert planned most of our stops. Our next stop was still in Sebastopol and just a few minutes away...
