Rori's Artisanal Creamery @ the Santa Barbara Public Market

I was worried about not finding parking in Santa Barbara but we managed to score a spot in a lot off State Street.

Our first stop was the nearby Santa  Barbara Public Market...

This opened several years ago and still isn't completely filled with tenants inside. Liberty Public Market is much like this place, consisting of high end purveyors of coffee, ice cream, ethnic food, and boasting its own meat/seafood market.  It's very very bougie.

We tried out Rori's for their ice cream. They had so many interesting flavors. I also liked that we could choose mini sizes rather than committing to just one flavor. It's on the pricy side; a single scoop is $4.25 but three "Itty Bitties" (their term, not mine) is $5.00.

TC's single scoop in a cone - Root Beer float, which she enjoyed very much.  The flavors of all of our ice cream choices were very intense. It was flavored with Sassafras and birch in the base, combined with vanilla.

Our trio - Serious Dark Chocolate (72% Belgian dark chocolate and French dark cocoa), John Martin (coconut ice cream with toasted coconut and dark chocolate shards) and Brown Sugar Banana (made with homemade brown sugar and fresh bananas).  Every single flavor was so $%#& good!

It wasn't a "colorful" cup but wow, each flavor was amazing in it's own right.

We looked at the other stalls and believe it or not, decided not to get coffee here (it was already late afternoon and I didn't want to be up all night considering we left so early in the morning). Many of the eateries/shops were very very pricy. We thought we would walk off some of our calories by strolling along the main drag, State Street....
