Mr. TJ was happy that they started offering brown rice...
We thought that our wait in line (we were number 3) would be short. How very fkg wrong we were...
Normally, we are in and out of that place in a snap. For whatever reason, they only had an olderlady (like Grandma old) taking and filling the orders. An older guy was in and out but not working the register. Usually, someone takes your order and another person starts filling your plate or bowl. Not this particular time. It was that older lady and just our damn luck, another really decrepit person in front of us that couldn't make up her fkg mind, wanting to sample this and that and the other.
Anyhow, after what seemed like an hour (but was probably only 6 or 7 minutes, which is still too long of a wait in my opinion), we finally ordered our lunch.
I saw this poster and thought I' give this a try.

I got the Angus beef and the Wok Seared Shrimp for my Surf 'n Turf. One side also went with my entree so I got Broccoli Beef (which I saved for TC). I was bummed that they no longer have their eggplant dish.

By this time, the older guy came out to help move things along. It was so painful having to hear the lady in front of us blather on and on about how she couldn't make up her mind. As uncharitable as this thought was, I really think that she just wanted to fill up on free samples.
An in other news, various last minute impulse buys...orange sauce anyone?

Mr. TJ got the boring grill chicken with brown rice and broccoli. No picture needed for that. La Ley got the Peppercorn Shrimp with vegetables and rice.

One thing about the shrimp at Panda Express, they are big, plump, and juicy.
Here was my food - the beef was pretty good. I liked that it had cubed potatoes in there, which was a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting that. The Angus beef chunks were much more tender than the beef in the broccoli beef. I just got it because I wanted a green vegetable. My shrimp on the other hand were so good that I finished it all.

Mr. TJ's soda cup touting the joys of brown rice:

It's always good getting out of the office and enjoying fresh air and a change of scenery. Now if only they could get rid of that crappy big band music at that particular shopping area!
