had a light lunch here at Savoie...

It really was a beautiful day to be out and about....
instead of being stuck in an office...
Our server was the very nice lady who helped us last year when we had our celebratory "end of the year" lunch after graduation. She told me she actually remembered me too (at least I'd like to believe that)...

I am alway awed by the beautiful decor, especially those giant moss balls!

Iced tea, bread and butter and a variety of appetizers were enjoyed...

Mr. TJ was feeling under the weather so he just had their soup of the day, Cream of Asparagus.

Roasted brussel sprouts:

My colleague's Portobello Salsiccia - slow cooked mushroom with Italian sausage, Provolone cheese, bell pepper and spinach served over greens.

Another coworker's Eggplant Rotolo - Eggplant rolled and stuffed with four types of cheese, spinach, breadcrmbs, and marinara sauce.

My colleague's salmon burger with fries:

La Ley's Salmon with limoncello beurre blanc, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables:

My braised short rib pizza - Yes, this is a lot but 3/4 of it was taken home to be enjoyed later by TC and Bert...

This was absolutely delicious! Braised beef short rib should be on every pizza if you ask me!
Previous visit to Savoie:
June 2016
Only a few more weeks 'til summer break! (my mantra it seems)
