He'd been wanting to have ramen and didn't mind the suggestion of going to the new'ish RakiRaki...
Supe had the Original Ramen with pork underbelly. He is a big bacon freak so he wanted to give it a go. He chose not to have any other additional toppings. The chicken based soup comes with bamboo shoots and sliced scallions.

He liked the broth and didn't seem to think it was salty like the GF's and I did during our previous visit.

I didn't get anything different from the last time. No chicken karaage as a side either because I didn't think I could manage all that food. Below, my Tsukemen with a side of corn. I didn't want to have any other meat toppings since the ultra rich Tsukemen broth came with a choice of either chicken or pork; I ended up choosing pork.

It was great having this again. I think the whole dipping the noodles in the broth thing takes too damn long though. I mean, c'mon. My fingers were cramping up. I ended up eating a chopstick full of noodles then slurped the soup separately!

Mmmm, pork chunks!
Luckily Superman had room for dessert. He's such a nice guy indulging me and my snow ice craving, ha ha! Below, the shared kitchen between Raki Raki and Angels & Hearts.

The fluff ice was mine and Supe had the masculinely wrapped Harajuku crepe...

which was filled with bananas, and peanut butter with Nutella. A perfect combination if you ask me. The cookie was vanilla this time (we had chocolate last week).

I was more than happy to sample his crepe!

For my fluff ice, I tried the green tea with a side of red beans (which was more of a paste than actual beans). I wanted my dessert with traditional Japanese flavors. Those pearly popper juice things were so cute but I feel a bit grossed out biting on them. I keep thinking of them as fish eggs, but better tasting. I love the ribboned look of the snow ice.

I could only handle a few bites and ended up, believe it or not, taking this home for Bert to enjoy later on. I was afraid the fluff ice would melt on the way home, but it barely even melted. It was amazing! Bert ended up eating the "naked version" of this since all the pearl poppers were gone as was the whipped cream and most of the red beans.
Previous visits to Raki Raki Ramen and Angels & Hearts Harajuku Creperie here and here where the Educator GF's and I had dessert first and then Ramen!
This was my last week of vacation and I was happy to have spent some quality time with a good friend...
Coming up, a lunch meetup with fellow bloggers...
