Things from Another World comic shop

Whenever we visit a city, we usually try to visit several places - a college or university for TC, an ice cream place for all of us, a wierd roadside attraction or museum for me...

and a comic book store for Bert and myself...

Would Bert be lucky and find a new figurine for his travel photos?

Some of the titles seen in Dark Horse's window next door - Brain Boy, The Umbrella Academy, and Tarzan to name a few...

Your typical comic book shop. Laid back clerks here. Nice selection of mainstream comics, independent, toys, and other pop culture memorabilia.

Bert was happy to find a tiny little Sinestro (an alien supervillain in the Green Lantern series) in the clearance bin. It was 30% off the sale price too, making it less than $5. Now Bert had something to use in his photos, kind of like a "Flat Stanley", but instead of a paper person who gets mailed to different places, it's a real figurine.

TC bought this from a vending machine that had Marvel Characters. She was trying to get the Thing for her teacher (it's his favorite of the Fantastic 4) but ended up with Spiderman.

Let's hope that Spidey's sixth sense will prevent him from getting lost or forgotten like the Tick.

We had one more stop to go before heading back to our place.

Hint...it's a roadside oddity. I'm such a sucker for those!
