No one was there yet except for the workers!
We boarded a small commuter plane which would take us to YYZ (yes, the Rush song which refers to the airport code for Toronto!)...

With a three hour layover, we spent the time decompressing. In TC's case, Bert got her a corned beef hash breakfast at one of the airport food places. He didn't remember what it was called and an internet search proved futile. It was some sort of pub type place is all TC could remember.
As you can see, this was a huge plate. She really liked the runny egg yolks while I enjoyed the corned beef hash with the crisp potato cubes. Bert helped her polish it off. I ended up snacking on a few of the Pillar's meat sticks I bought at Wal-Mart yesterday (where I went crazy buying Canadian snacks and candies)...

It was so good to be back home! The sight of palm trees and sunny skies made me so happy!

While we were gone from SD, I noticed that the lines on the freeways were repainted and the lanes made more narrow! The emergency lanes are now wider and have an extra yellow line. Hmmm...I don't like it. I noticed the difference as I did my errands yesterday and today. I hate that "too close" feeling on the freeway!
Anyhow...it'll be a busy weekend! The SD Fair! A graduation party! A birthday party (nephew #3 will be an official teenager!), and our wedding anniversary!

:) Still laughing at us at the Walmart in North Bay! Too funny! People must have thought we were nuts with your cart filled with Canadian snacks and candies! LOVE IT!!!
I felt so sorry for the lady ringing me up. She wanted to go on break (I overheard her telling a co-worker) to use the "washroom". I also felt sorry for whoever was behind me too! Ha ha! But TC helped load up that suitcase with all that #$%&!!!
