Unwrap this...

Well, now...

It was awesome seeing this maple leaf tape covered box on my porch yesterday. Of course, this could only mean one thing...

Coffee Crisp candy for days!!!!

C from Life on Manitoulin was kind enough to send us a ginormous care package from the Great White North. As you can see, the sent several permutations of Coffee Crisp candy (which I totally got hooked on when we visited C and her family back in summer of 2010), some Manitoulin Island magnets, chocolate "Loonie" coins, a gargantuan chocolate coin, and a couple of dip packets (roasted garlic and hot caramelized onion)!

There's the bag, then the minis...

then your basic 4-packs (3, count 'em 3!)...

For TC, C's daughter chose this cool horse clock (along with a blue feathery pen which I forgot to include in the photo).

Thanks so much C! Now Bert won't be in Coffee Crisp withdrawal for awhile!

Oh Coffee Crisp! I told the Mister if (when) we go up to Buffalo and then over to Niagara, I am going to load up on Coffee Crisp!

Ah nice score! When I spend enough time somewhere I tend to find a new candy bar that I like that seems popular at the local convenience stores. In Quebec province, it was Coffee Crisps. On my two trips to HK, it was the Kinder Bueno. In northern EU, it was Lion Bar . And at one particular Asian store in Daly City it's Ovalteenies. (amazing to see entries on candy bars in wikipedia).
