The new House Roots Coffee + a quick stop at THH before heading home

In another strip mall not too far from Ninong's Pastries...

is the new location for House Roots Coffee...

Look for the tree stump on the round sign.

Their menu is simple. We got a cortado (for comparison) and the Gold Mint lemonade drink along with a salted chocolate chip cookie.

The lemon mint was so refreshing. It was already pretty warm by this time. The cookie was also pretty damn good. It had a slight crisp exterior but a chewy interior.  The perfect mix of both textures.

The cortado was smooth, easy to drink, and subbed with almond milk and easy to drink.

Some pix while on the drive down.

Heh, the PETA billboard below.  Thank you "Black Fish" documentary!

New sign.

Quick stop at THH in Tustin for a pee stop and snacks.

Pate chaud (chicken and pork) plus sausage rolls.

Our exit...

Home sweet home! We would see our TC the next day.

Below, a bag bought from the local Albertson's in Carp.
