We couldn't pass up the opportunity to look at THIS house again...
Yes, it was the return to the Fish House (see our previous visit last Fall), or the Tartigrade House. Last year, we took individual shots. This time we took a group shot with the timer on our car (cropped as you can see here). No one was out but a few cars passed by probably irritated by us. My daughter was so embarassed! Ha ha.

Before heading back to the hotel, we picked up some wine for my Ninang and Ninong at the Andronico's on Solano, then I revisited this little boutique, Patina.

When we looked around the other day, it was already closed. I was admiring some bracelets in the wondow and wanted to go again when it was open. These look like liquid silver! They're so pretty. I ended up getting a narrower style. These were all wide cuffs that fasten with a sturdy snap.

Our next stop was La Farine, a French bakery chain in the Berkeley/Oakland area. We picked up a few pastries for breakfast the next day...

It smelled so good in here! So many kinds of different pastries to choose from...

I wonder if the people who work here get sick and tired of smelling sweets all day? Probably not!

Strawberry cheesecake...

A slice of cake called Geneve (chocolate genoise cake layered with milk chocolate mouse and covered with bittersweet chocolate ganache)

A slice of Pear Frangipane tart! My favorite of all!

This was bought by mistake. I wanted a macaron but when Bert ordered it, they gave him a chocolate macaroon (wtf) . I didn't find out until we were in the car, but we ate it some of it anyways! Mmmm...

Desserts - it's what's for breakfast.
The next day would find us making our way down the coast but first, let's end Day 3 with our dinner. Up next, our dinner with MFS and her BF...
