My first car was a Saturn - the first models they ever made. Hand me down car, of course! It barely went over 65MPH and struggled with going uphill but my friends & I always took it for our road trips since I was the only one with a 4 door car back then!
hi mary - my car was a diesel and it made a lot of noise. it was also hard to find gas stations that had diesel back then. sounds like your first car was the road trip car!!!!
Um, my first car was a Ford Pinto. Loved it since it was white with red stripes on the side. Great while it lasted cuz the previous "douche" owner never once changed the oil the entire time he had it.

come to think of it, all of us (my friends) had shitty hand me down cars, not unlike the richy rich kids at m school who have new BMW's, Benz's, F-150's, and such. we were not a rich community and were pretty grateful that we had wheels at all!
