where you can enjoy coffee and also get your laptop or phone fixed...
We were given this coupon back in January and were finally using it now...

I had forgotten my phone charger in the other car. I also forgot my portable charger at home because I was in a hurry to leave. I was freaking out because I like to have my phone charged especially when I am out and about. Both of us forgot our portable chargers so this place was perfect. Bert bought me a phone charger with two USB ports, which was handy. I was able to breathe a sigh of relief.

Not sure what the BB8 does, but it sure looks cute! I can't wait for the new BB8 Pez to be released.

I tried the Rose Petal latte while Bert had the Guatemalan pourover.

I'm not usually one for floral drinks but I really wanted to give it a try and you know what, I actually liked it! The rose flavor wasn't as strong as I feared it would be. It didn't taste like I was drinking my mother's rose scented lotion (Rose Milk, ugh, which she bought because it was advertised on "The Lawrence Welk" show). I ended up taking the rest of my latte in a to-go cup (froze it overnight so it could be like a frozen slushy and chipped at it the next morning). Bert's coffee smelled so good; it was so smooth that he ended up drinking it black.

The folks who work at Tech Outfitters are so very helpful, professional and friendly. They take the time to really listen to their customers, given advice and options and even do double duty as baristas!
Since it was my birthday month, I had some birthday freebies by several retailers I wanted to utilize. I normally avoid the mall like I avoid overzealous religious solicitors but it was still early enough that there would be no crowds...

Thank goodness for birthday rewards cards and also for the generosity of former students (one of them gave me 10% off on a shoe purchase, which was so nice and unexpected).

While walking around the mall, I was thinking, "Wow, this is what it's like to be out of the office!" as well as, "Man, don't people work?", ha ha. I live in a cave so I have no concept of what's out there. But really, it was interesting to do some people watching and also fun to window shop.
Believe it or not, we were hungry again and thank goodness for the ibirthday club deals because I had one to use for a place in Grantville we'd been to before...
