Mitch's Seafood

Down the street is the popular Point Loma Seafoods. We didn't want to park in their lot (I believe there are fees) which is why we parked near the Dolphin Motel...

Not that much farther away than Point Loma Seafoods is Mitch's...

It was still early and we weren't sure if their full menu was available.

It turns out that they were only doing the breakfast menu; the only seafood item on the breakfast menu was the Crab Cake Benedict, which has poached eggs which I don't like.   We ordered it anyways because...well, crab cakes.

This was cool, we did not know that San Rafael Arcangel was the patron saint of Fishermen.

Still empty since it was pretty early. I chose the corner window by the wall with all of the vintage photos.

The crab cakes came with a side of fried potatoes which were nicely seasoned and crisp.

My half of the benedict without the offending poached egg. The crab cake was moist and full of fresh crab but it also had some fillers in there (bread crumbs and fresh herbs).

I kept thinking about the Krabby Patty song sung by Mr. Krabs from "Spongebob Squarepants":

Plus this other ditty sung by Spongebob

Ha ha. Annoying isn't it.

Placards featuring fish found in our waters...

mitchsseafood.com + reviews from tripadvisor, you know where and four square

Not really wowed by our coffees from earlier, there was another coffee place in the same general area that we wanted to revisit (plus we had a coupon). Hint, we would be doing double duty there, getting coffee and also buying a tech related item...
