Birthday crawl 2017 - The Coffee Hub Cafe

It was great taking a day off for my birthday.

The day was made even better since Bert also took the day off...

After TC drove herself to school (yes, she is driving now) we then took off. Morning traffic wasn't too bad.  First stop was here...

Coffee Hub Cafe is in the same strip mall as Supannee House of Thai (in the corner). This coffee spot is fairly new, having opened two and a half months ago.

Bike seats and bikes as decor.

We ordered two drinks and the two breakfast sliders with a side of bacon to share.

These were our drinks - a cortado and macchiato, both served in cups as requested instead of paper. While the drinks were good, they were lacking in the latte art department.

Thick cut bacon was perfect. The breakfast sliders had fried egg (one per half!), tomato, manchego cheese, red peppper aioli and arugula.

The biscuits were housemade and very flaky.

This was a delicious way to start off the morning.  When we arrived, there was only one customer. By the time we left, the place was starting to fill up.

We reparked near this place because it was closer to our second destination.  We couldn't leave our car in the strip mall lot since destination #1 was three blocks away and the spaces were timed.

I wonder how long this place has been around? Signage is pretty old looking but I do like the graphics on the side of the hotel.

Across the street was Fisherman's Landing...

The morning was still young and tranquil.

We both liked how deserted everything was this early in the morning. The sun was starting to come out and ruin the perfect lighting by the overcast clouds.  Our next stop was across the street for another small bite...
