After picking up TC in the morning, we had to drop her off at a marathon dance practice. We would be alone once again. It seemed so odd not to have her with us that morning.
One of these days, we'll have to visit the new Library. We love the look of it, especially the open dome...
We liked our first visit to Bake Sale so much that we had to return...
We had to pace ourselve this morning because we had a few other stops along with a get together at a friend's house that afternoon...
The glass case and cake stands were laden with so many treats. It was hard to choose just two.
We decided on one of these breakfast biscuit sandwiches and the morning bun that we liked so much last time...
I wish we could have tried them all...

The biscuit itself was quite savory, flecked with bacon and cheddar and filed with ham and a thin,neat square of peppered egg omelet.
This was quite delicious and would hold us over 'til our next snack...

I am interested in trying the pop tarts and croissants for a future visit. Our next stop would be in Balboa Park to a new beercentric eatery...
