Three is a Magic Number...Big Joy!

Last weekn when C and I went here, we were wondering about this Hair Duck place, which is in the same strip mall as our dessert destination.

Turns out that KD's mother in law gets her "hair did" there! It's an Asian beauty salon...

Again, more macarons! I got these to share while D got desserts and coffees for everyone else. The flavors here are: Blueberry, Pistachio, Strawberry, Cappuccino and Sea Salt Caramel (you can see the salt crystals on top)...

My close up shots of the slices didn't come out very nice so here they are from afar! The slice on the far left was a cappucino cake. The one in the middle was some really rich chocolate on chocolate deal and the green one was green tea. There was also a bakalava roll that D was craving.

As for drinks, noth D and KD got regular coffees. TORC got a Hazelnut coffee and I actually got a coffee as well! I normally NEVER order hot drinks, but after the mouthgasm that was Bert's Caramel Coffee drink from the night before, I was emboldened to order the Mochaccino! Everyone loved the fancy cups and thought it added a very nice and classy touch.

Our desserts didn't stand a chance with us four...

As if this wasn't enough, we ended up going to Pangea down the street (no photos) to pick up a few items. Several women working there recognized me and D bumped into a parent from her school. Small world, eh! One of the women ended up giving us free desserts (it was in the Day Old pile, but hey, it was still free), "You take!", so that was totally unexpected but nice gesture!
