Yo Adrian!

A few nights ago we went out to dinner at one of our favorite spots...

As much as we wanted to have then, it was a No Philly Cheesesteaks night!

The coupon we had was a Buy One Get One  (+ 2 beverages) and the meal could be up to $20. We chose something from the "Eddie's Additions" portion of their menu...
I had the Meatloaf with Garlic Bread and Potato Salad (Bert picked the carb heavy sides). The bread was a split buttered Amoroso roll with real garlic rubbed on. That was a also a ton of meat loaf. I did not expect three big pieces. It was way too much food for one sitting. I would alternate bites of the meat with bread and gravy. The other half ended up being breakfast the next day! Meatloaf was not something I grew up eating and when I did eat it at school, it wasn't very good. This, however, was nothing like the cafeteria meatloaf of my childhood. It tasted homemade and I loved it.

The delicious beef and mushroom gravy.

Bert's BBQ sauced ribs with mac salad and baked beans. The meat was fall off the bone tender. Mmmm...

TC had the basic Cheeseburger which came with a side of dressing and a generous pile of lettuce, onions, pickles, and tomatoes.

Normally I would have ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Mushrooms but this time, it was Meat Loaf! Finally, eh! As Yoda would say, "Good food, hee heee heee"!

We did not get Tasty Kakes for dessert. Instead we drove up north to a recently visited bakery...
