which is a good thing. The other place that is there (Communal) is a bit too frou frou for me...
Plus they don't roast their own beans there like Seven Seas Roasting Co. does. They also use paper and plastic cups which I hate. This new place is a nice plus. Seven Seas is on the SE corner of Grape and 30th, in between Piacere Mio and Left Hand Black tattoo shop.
They sport cool signage that looks vintage but was made to look that way by a local artist. The theme is nautical (the owner is US Navy retired with 11 years of service) and has a colorful octopus mural on their floor which extends to their walls.

Their menu is also simple, which is good. If you don't like coffee, they also have tea.

I may have to pick up one of their bags for our next visit. We are still trying to finish our bags from Virtuoso and Moto.
Their roaster and the cool tattoo-inspired mural in the bag (wish it wasn't obscured).

Free stickers with purchase:

Almond croissant from Cardamom Bakery in North Park. Bert really liked how this croissant was almond packed (almond paste within and sliced almonds on top).

Two of us but three drinks, heh.

Excellent coffee trio here.
Mocha:

Cortado in an imported handmade cup from Thailand (love the color scheme):

Macchiato (I love the tiny cup):

A macchiato done right, I say. All drinks were smooth. That was one of the better cortados I've had so far this year. The lady who helped us was one of the co-owners (she's from Belarus; the Navy vet is her husband).
Seating is kind of limited here. Inside was fully occupied so we sat outside at the bar height counter to enjoy our drinks and watch folks with their cute doggos walk by.
