But first some coffee using a super old "e-cup" certificate given to me by Kirk...
...in 2009!!!! Wut?
Seriously, yes. He sent it to me for reasons I no longer remember then I gave it to Bert since he's more of a coffee drinker than I am. Since there wasn't an expiration date...
This was Bert's Caramel Mocha which he enjoyed...nice and piping hot.

Right next door to Peet's was the Cup of Yo frozen yogurt shop. This was TC's tart plain and raspberry/pomegranate with gummy worms and passionfruit flavored exploding boba. Those taste good but it's a wierd sensation having it pop in your mouth. You see one yogurt shop, you've seen them all. Nothing terribly exciting or groundbreaking. I coffee-sat while waiting for Bert and TC...

We had yet to go to the place I wanted to go...
As we were driving down the steep hill of Catalina St., we passed by a sign for Talbot St. and Bert was making jokes about this:
That was Russell Edgington, the King of Louisiana in "True Blood" finding his lover Talbot's bloody and sticky remains which he later places in a glass urn. Lovely!
This is the view as you head south on Catalina Street - you can see the San Diego skyline in the far far distance. These homes have million dollar views.

Heading down to Shelter Island...

Thanks for that e-cup Kirk! Bert really appreciated it!
Peet's Coffee & Cup of Yo
955 Catalina St., Suite (don't remember the suite numbers but they're next to each other)
San Diego, CA 92106
I wasn't sure what to expect from this next place, but sugar was definitely on the agenda...

Me neither! It was good enough to get that caramel coffee!
