Return to Sicilian Thing Pizza

It was a Friday night and I didn't want to eat our leftover spaghetti. Plus, it was just payday so we wanted to come here again...

Their display case was full this time...

Bert started off with this craft beer from a Petaluma based brewery. I only know of this town because it's where Winona Ryder is from (I love her as an actress, klepto tendencies aside!) and also this year's Little League World Series team (the kids lost against Japan). The beer was light and went well with the pizzas.

Our dinner - three NY thin slices and one thick Sicilian slice:

This wasn't there the last time, so we had to try this, the Bacon Cheeseburger.

We also got their thick slice pizza - the Meatda. Loved the crust on this. It's the best thick crust pizza we've ever had - so light and airy! Kicks ass on the heavy Chicago style deep dish (please don't crucify me, deep dish lovers!)!

I wanted this agai, the Barack-oli Ricotta - pretty light on the broccoli but just right with the ricotta!

TC chose The Thing - their combination,

Ah yeah, there's that heavenly Meatda with that amazing crust...

We exchanged bites of our different slices with TC opting to just eat hers. Out of the three slices Bert and I chose, I liked the flavor of the Bacon Cheeseburger but the cheese in the Ricotta slice. Bert also liked the cheeseburger slice.

As we were finishing up dinner, I checked out our nearby dessert options:

The folks who work here are really super cool. We liked seeing the parade of customers and folks walking by (we had a window seat). We know that we will be back again to try the remaining flavors we didn't try these first two times.

Here's our first visit a few months ago which also links other bloggers' posts.

Now we didn't have to go too far for dessert...
